Abstract
The reaction of donor-stabilized metaphosphoric acid derivatives like pyPX2Y or Py2*P2S5 with proton-active nucleophiles leads presumably t o the intermediary formation of the corresponding monometaphosphate sp ecies which react via cyclo- or polyaddition to cyclic, and linear oli gomeric or polymeric phosphorus compounds.
