Abstract
N-Aryl-1,2,3-dithiazoles 2 and the corresponding N-arylcyanothioformam ides 3 have been synthesized via 4,5-dichloro-1,2,3-dithiazole derivat ives, and their antibacterial activity measured; the dithiazoles are s ignificantly active against Gram-positive bacteria.
