Abstract
This paper investigates the relationship between antisocial behaviour and injury-related behaviour in a sample of young Norwegian males and females. The results indicated that antisocial behaviour was positivel y related to risk-seeking behaviour and negatively related to safety-s eeking behaviour. The associations were similar for both genders. The findings suggest that the disproportionate level of injuries among ant isocial and 'delinquent' adolescents, which are reported in numerous s tudies, may be accounted for by their high level of risk-seeking activ ity and low level of safety-seeking activity.
