A. Pinto et al., CLINICAL ANAMNESTIC AND INSTRUMENTAL DATA IN OUTPATIENTS SUFFERING FROM VENOUS DISEASE, International angiology, 14(4), 1995, pp. 400-403
The authors studied 200 consecutive outpatients with symptoms due to v
enous disease of the lower limbs. All the patients underwent anamnesti
c, clinical and instrumental evaluation (c.w Doppler velocimetry and s
train-gauge plethysmography). The results of this study showed that so
me anamnestic and clinical data are significantly related to venous di
sease detected by instrumental techniques. The superficial and deep ve
in hypertension were, instead, correlated to oral contraceptive use.
