Sr. Inamdar et Bd. Kulkarni, KINETIC INSTABILITY IN REACTION-DIFFUSION SYSTEMS - THE EFFECT OF TIME-DELAY, Journal of physical chemistry, 97(39), 1993, pp. 10245-10247
The effects of time delay on the transition curve marking the onset of
kinetic instability in a class of reaction-diffusion systems are anal
ytically evaluated by linearizing the system equations. The analysis i
n general shows that the transition curves become multivalued and indi
cates considerable shrinkage of the parameter plane where such transit
ions can occur. Also, the effect is more severe for higher extents of
time delay.
