Abstract
Condensation of p-sulfamylphenylhydrazine with chalcones, leads either
to hydrazones (2) or pyrazolines (3). Oxidation of (3) afforded pyraz
ole derivatives (4). Benzenesulfonylureas (5) and thioureas (6) were a
lso prepared, and (6) was converted to the corresponding thiazolidinon
es (7) on reaction with ethyl bromoacetate.
