Abstract
Reaction of ketoximes of various 1-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro carbazoles w ith acetic anhydride in pyridine yielded the respective 1-N, N-diacety lamino carbazoles (9-16) which are characterised by IR and H-1-NMP spe ctrometric techniques.
