Synthesis of three new substituted 3-styryl-2-pyrazolines, the purity
of which is found to be >99.5%, using HPLC is reported. Preliminary in
vestigations of the absorption (dichloromethane), fluorescence spectra
(dichloromethane) and fluorescence lifetimes (ethanol) of the compoun
ds are recorded. The NMR, IR and Mass spectral data are recorded to co
nfirm the structure.
