Abstract
We report a case of polyarteritis nodosa occurring in a patient with h epatitis C, ten days after the beginning of alpha-IFN therapy. There w as no cryoglobulinemia. Sevum HCV-RNA was detectable before INF therap y and disappeared during the vasculitits. The patient received boli of methylprednisolone and the neurological and skin lesions regressed af ter 5 months. This observation could suggest a precocious reponse to a lpha-INF and a relationship between INF and the occurrence of vasculit its.
