Abstract
Carbon black (20-30 wt.%) filled polypropylene is a nonexpensive, flex ible electrode material, which is highly suitable for cell designs wit h bipolar electrodes or for single electrodes with a metal backing. Th e electrode surfaces must not be roughened. They have a pronounced ele ctrochemical inertness in aqueous and organic electrolytes.
