Abstract
A 29-year-old woman presenting with an ectopic adrenocorticotropic hor mone syndrome and a nodule of the upper lobe of the left lung was expl ored by indium 111 (In-111) octreotide scintigraphy. This showed a pat hologic uptake by the nodule. Treatment with octreotide resulted in th e rapid control of hypercortisolism prior to surgery.
