Abstract
Glomangiomas, a rare variant of glomus tumors, can be mistaken for hem angiomas. Case reports of two family members are given as examples for differential diagnosis and timing of surgical intervention. Conservat ive excision is proposed when vital structures are involved. The use o f the candela tunable pulse dye laser for the treatment of the superfi cial dermal component of the tumor is presented.
