Abstract
In 56 German Simmental and Holstein Friesian cows non-contact skin tem perature measurements with infrared thermometry have been taken in the area of acupuncture points correlated to the female genital system. S kin temperature in the area of acupuncture points is markedly differen t to the temperature of non-acupuncture points in the same area. The p ositive or negative deviation and the range of temperature differences to non-acupuncture points do not allow any significant diagnostic int erpretation.
