Intracavity ultraviolet (UV) generations using critically phase-matche
d crystals CsLiB6O10, P-BaB2O4 and LiB3O5 in a continuous-wave Ti:sapp
hire laser are demonstrated. UV radiations up to 280 mW, 400 mW and 65
0 mW at 400 nm have been obtained by The means of these three crystals
respectively, corresponding to infrared-to-UV conversion efficiencies
of 27%, 38% and 63%. Attractive properties of CsLIB(6)O(10) for deep-
UV generation are discussed.
