AN ANALYSIS OF A METHOD OF INSPECTION OF MOVING FERROMAGNETIC PARTS USING COERCIVE FORCE

The change in magnetization in a ferromagnetic part under the action o f a diminishing external magnetic field after magnetization to saturat ion is analyzed. A method is developed for inspection of the magnetic properties of moving small ferromagnetic parts providing tuning out of the influence of changes in geometric dimensions of the parts on the inspection results. The boundaries of applicability of the method are analyzed, the optimum conditions of its use are determined, and exampl es of its use are given.
