Abstract
High-resolution, real-time sonography is commonly used for the evaluat ion of acute scrotal pathology. Pulsed and color Doppler techniques en hance diagnostic accuracy [1, 2], However, extensive distortion of int rascrotal anatomy can occur with advanced inflammation, infarction, or trauma, leading to decreased specificity of the sonographic examinati on.
