Abstract
This paper presents a general overview of electromagnetic inductance t omography (EMT). A general introduction is given together with a descr iption of the theoretical background of the technique. Three examples of different EMT systems are discussed and images produced using sever al different image reconstruction techniques are presented. A discussi on of the main features of the techniques is included and some potenti al applications are suggested.
