Abstract
The results of the use of the dynamical semimicroscopic model of photo disintegration in the description of the total and partial cross secti ons for the reactions C-12(gamma, p) and C-12(E* = 4.43 MeV) (gamma, p) are discussed. It is shown that the interaction of the dipole vibra tions with the low-energy modes of nuclear excitation influences signi ficantly the structure and the decay characteristics of the giant reso nance of C-12.
