Abstract
The methiodide of 2-(dimethylaminomethyl) diphenylarsinoferrocene was allowed to react with a number of nucleophiles: sodium methoxide, sodi um phenolate, substituted phenolates, piperidine and N-methylaniline. Eight new 2-substituted diphenylarsinoferrocenes were obtained, The st ructure of the products were determined by elementary analysis, H-1 NM R, IR and MS spectra.
