Abstract
New bismaleimides (SIBMI) derived from Diels-Alder reaction of bis(4-m aleimidophenyl) dimethyl silane [or bis(4-maleimidophenyl) diphenyl si lane] and bis(2-furylmethoxy)dimethyl silane [or bis(2-furyl methoxy) diphenyl silane] were synthesized, Prepared products were then aromati zed and silicone and imide containing bismaleimides (SIBMI) were obtai ned, The products were characterized by IR, H-1 NMR as well as element al analysis, and the results were in accordance with the molecular str ucture.
