Abstract
Healing of the urinary tract follows a series of events similar to oth er epithelial surfaces. This process, however, occurs more rapidly in the urinary tract. A variety of factors that can affect the healing re sponse of the urinary tract are presented in this article. It is impor tant for the veterinarian to he aware of these factors so that the app ropriate surgical or medical treatment can be provided to the patient to optimize the healing processes.
