Tetrakis-4-(2,4-di-amylphenoxy) phthalocyaninato-polysiloxane (R(4)PcP
S) Langmuir-Blodgett(LB) films were prepared onto planar interdigital
microelectrode arrays and their gas sensitive properties were investig
ated. The results of response and recovery process were shown when the
(R(4)PcPS) LB films were exposed to NH3, NO2 and I-2 gas in air. The
gas sensitive sensor consisting of (R(4)PcPS) LB film can be used to d
etect NH3 gas down to 0.0005% in air.
