Abstract
A description is given of a novel optical system for optical informati on processing. An analysis is given of ways of increasing opto-energet ic characteristics of optical information processing systems in which use is made of spatial light modulators with phase-relief (in thermopl astic materials) and polarisation (in crystalline structures of the DK DP type) information storage.
