Abstract
Molecular sieving carbons are carbonaceous adsorbents of increasing im portance. This paper describes the results of the study concerning the carbon molecular sieves (CMS) preparation and modification of pore st ructure. Molecular sieving properties of various carbons were studied by measuring dynamic adsorption capacity for carbon dioxide under pres sure swing adsorption (PSA) conditions. Separation of carbon dioxide f rom landfill gas on CMS prepared in a laboratory unit designed for thi s purpose bared on PSA cycle is also reported.
