S. Gocan et S. Cobzac, QUANTITATION DETERMINATION OF HYPEROXIDE IN THE GLYCEROL SOLUTION OF BETULA-VERRUCOSA, BY THIN-LAYER, Revista de chimie, 47(1), 1996, pp. 54-58
A method for quantitative determination of the hyperosid from glycerol
solution of Betula Verrucosa, using TCL/phtodensitometry, is discusse
d in detail. The sample was cleaned by solid phase extraction (C-18) a
nd then applied on thin-layer plate. For TLC silica gel plates Sil G F
-254 were used and as eluent: ethyl acetate/formic acid/water/(80:10:1
0,v/v). A standard solution of hyperosid was extracted on solid phase
(C-18) and the results showed a very good recovery (99%). A regression
equation for quantification hyperosid from glycerol solution of Betul
a Verrucosa was used. The quantity of hyperosid was found to be 0.044
mg/mL in glycerol solution of Betula Verrucosa.
