Np. Lyakishev et al., CAUSES OF SELF-DESTRUCTION AND HEAT-TREATMENT CONDITIONS PRESERVING THE LUMP NATURE OF CARBONATE MANGANESE CONCENTRATES, Russian metallurgy. Metally, (5), 1992, pp. 1-6
The termination of plastic strain is the final event in the appearance
and development of submicro-, micro, and macroscopic defects in plast
ic strain. The possibility and intensity or destruction are determined
by the ratio or the rates of formation and ''healing'' of the microcr
acks. An attempt is made to evaluate the destruction probability and a
conclusion is reached on the need to choose the optimal conditions of
raw material heat treatment.
