IDENTIFICATION OF THE LIPIDS AND THE ANT ATTRACTANT 1,2-DIOLEOYLGLYCEROL IN THE ARILS OF COMMIPHORA-GUILLAUMINI PERR (BURSERACEAE) BY SUPERCRITICAL-FLUID CHROMATOGRAPHY ATMOSPHERIC-PRESSURE CHEMICAL-IONIZATIONMASS-SPECTROMETRY

On-line coupling of supercritical fluid chromatography to atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation mass spectrometry was used to analyse a c omplex mixture of tri- and di-acylglycerols extracted from the tree Co mmiphora guillaumini Perr. (Burseraceae). The single components, inclu ding the ant attractant 1,2-dioleoylglycerol, were identified by mass spectrometry using skimmer-fragmentation in both the positive and the negative mode.
