Abstract
Tungstogallic heteropolyanion trisubstituted with transition metal cob alt was intercalated into ZnAl-NO3 type anion clay by means of hydroth ermal ion-exchange for the first time, IR spectra show thai Keggin str ucture of the intercalated hyteropolyanion was kept perfect, Powder X- ray diffraction confirms that the intercalation reaction takes place a nd the gallery height of intercalated product is 0.99 +/- 0.01 nm. Cat alytical tests exhibit that the intercalated derivative shows a higher catalytic activity for the formation of DOP.
