Abstract
The effects of process parameters on inulinase production by Aspergill us niger van Teighem have been studied by one-factor-at-a-time and fra ctional design. Use of various carbon sources, singly and in combinati on, suggested that inulinase production by Aspergillus niger van Teigh em is probably inducible and subject to catabolite repression. A fract ional factorial method using the Plackett-Burman design showed that in ulin, among the various carbon sources studied, had the highest positi ve influence on inulinase production.
