Abstract
Measurements of density, ultrasonic velocity and viscosities for binar y mixtures of p-cresol (I) with dimethyl sulfoxide (2) dimethyl formam ide (2) and 1,4-dioxane (2) mixtures are reported at 303.15-318.15 K o ver the entire range of composition. Also, the other related physical parameters, viz. adiabatic compressibility, intermolecular freelength, excess volume, excess adiabatic compressibility and excess viscosity, have been computed. The extent and nature of interaction among the co mponent liquids are discussed.
