Abstract
At a lithium liquid metal ion source two concentric emission bundles w ith sharp outlines are observed, which may indicate two different kind s of emitted ions and/or emission mechanisms. The angular intensity of the narrow bundle is the highest yet reported for liquid metal ion so urces.
