J. Ihringer et K. Rottger, A NOVEL GUINIER DIFFRACTOMETER WITH AUTOMATED ADJUSTMENT AND SETTINGS, Journal of physics. D, Applied physics, 26(4A), 1993, pp. 32-34
A novel Guinier camera and diffractometer allow automated adjustment o
f all optical components and change from transmission to reflection ge
ometry by remote control. The apparatus is equipped with two counters.
A special degree of freedom within the counter set-up aligns the coun
ters towards any point at the circumference of the Rowland circle and
keeps it oriented towards the sample during a 2theta scan. So. only on
e rotation is used during measurement. The sample support, oriented by
two translations and one rotation, is independent from the counter se
t-up. The apparatus combines the highest accuracy with full variabilit
y.
