The experimental results on diffraction of a spatially inhomogeneous x
-ray beam made in the Laue geometry are presented, A diffraction lens
with a full aperture A = 168 mum, number of zones N = 23 and gold coat
ing thickness t(Au) = 1.5 mum was fabricated to modulate the incident
beam at the crystal entrance surface and focus the diffracted beam at
the exit surface. A numerical simulation of the obtained image was pro
duced and comparative analysis was carried out.
