BIOACTIVE GLASS-CERAMICS

This paper concentrates important aspects of materials preparations an d characterizations for some glass-ceramics with bioactive properties. Processing methods of bioceramic materials, including those with ferr omagnetic properties, are also examined. For synthesized materials, th e main ceramic and ferromagnetic properties are reported. There are al so presented tests of biocompatibility, in vitro and in vivo.
