Abstract
The fluorescence spectroscopy of Eu3+ ions has been used as a probe of the structural. changes that occur during the thermal treatment of Ti O2(Eu3+) films. These changes reflect how the environment of the Eu3ions is modified during the initial film --> densified film transforma tion. The variation of Eu3+ ion quantity introduced in the films and t he addition of yttrium, as co-dopant were followed in the same way.
