A glycosidic fraction obtained from roots of Cnidium silaifolium was s
hown to contain, as main component, the known monoterpene glucoside, p
aeoniflorin. The new monoterpene glucoside, (1S, 5R, eta-D-glucopyrano
syloxy)-8-hydroxy-pin-2-en-4-one, and the known coumarin glucosides, O
-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-columbianetin and apterin were also obtained.
