Abstract
An unusual series of five long-chain alkanoic acid (C-14-C-18) esters of lupeol was isolated from the methanol extract of koelpinia linearis and characterized by chemical and spectroscopic methods, including C- 13 NMR. The spectral assignments were achieved by APT and DEFT techniq ues.
