We have done a systematic study of the magnetization of granular (Bi,P
b)(2)Sr2Ca2Cu3O10+x superconductors at 77 K. Main attention was paid t
o the behavior of intergranular magnetization currents. The experiment
s covered flux-distribution and magnetic-relaxation measurements using
Hall sensor magnetometry. These were supplemented by standard magneti
zation and hysteresis-loss measurements. The magnetization of the inte
rgranular system was found to have its own dynamics in each case of th
e measurements. The behavior, however, was to some extent similar to t
hat of classical hard type-II superconductors.
