Abstract
Calcium modified lead titanate thin films have been prepared by spin-c oating of aquo-diol solutions on platinized silicon substrates. The in fluence of the chemical processing parameters and of the heating rates on the crystallization of the films is studied. Different ferroelectr ic properties are measured in films prepared under different condition s, These differences are related to the crystalline phases and structu ral characteristics developed in the films during their preparation.
