Bp. Gradusov, EXPERIENCE OF EVALUATING THE COMPOSITION AND PROPERTIES - OF THE LITHOGENIC BASE OF THE WORLDS ECOSYSTEMS, Eurasian soil science, 28(4), 1996, pp. 106-119
Properties and reactions of the main petrographic and mineralogical or
ders of land ecosystems are investigated. The intensities and diversit
y of fourteen globally significant orders, that is, their potential ec
ological variability, are estimated, and the categories of variability
are calculated. The highest categories characterize the orders of the
lithogenic base of ecosystems of the main agricultural territories. T
he ecological variability of petrographic and mineralogical orders of
ecosystems is formed in the prolonged evolution of the geographical en
vironment.
