A brief description is given of the results of the development of algo
rithms for analyzing the stability of nonlinear stabilization systems,
constructing estimates of the basic figures of merit, and synthesizin
g a control with guaranteed quality based on the use of vector Lyapuno
v functions for the purpose of allowing for parametric and other uncer
tainties and perturbations for systems described by a set of both diff
erential and difference equations (continuous-discrete systems). The p
ossibility of using the procedure described to investigate the dynamic
s of a system for the gyrostabilization of an elastic spacecraft is de
monstrated.
