Abstract
Pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridines (4) and (5) have been obtained by the condens ation of yl)-5-amino-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxaIdehydes (3) with a ctive methylene compounds viz: diethyl malonate and malononitrile.
