Abstract
The design and synthesis of a hapten for a radioimmunoassay procedure for the potential atypical antipsychotic agent 1192U90 (1) is describe d. The hapten, a butyric acid derivative of ortho-amino benzamide 1192 U90, was prepared in five steps starting from 5-hydroxy-2-nitrobenzald ehyde.
