Abstract
The problem, solution, and mechanisms of the thermal and weather stabi lization of PVC with organotin compounds are surveyed from results pub lished during the last 30 years. The organotin stabilizers are classif ied into four groups according to their effects on the velocity of PVC dehydrochlorination. Their stabilization mechanism is considered in 6 steps.
