Abstract
A series of cationic platinum(II) complexes of the type [Pt(en)(R'R '' S)Cl]NO3 and [Pt(BAMCH)(R'R '' S)Cl]NO3 (where en = ethylenediamine; BAMCH = 1,1-bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane; and R'R '' S = dimethylsulfid e, diethysulfide, dipropylsulfide, diisopropylsulfide, diphenylsulfide , dibenzylsulfide, thioanisole, and methyl-p-tolylsulfide) has been sy nthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared, and Pt-19 5 nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic techniques.
