Abstract
In the analysis of spacial patterns, it is found that the spacial patt ern of disease is changing in an epidemic season and the value of patt ern index I (I = v/m) is from increasing to decreasing. In this paper, a model based on the Taylor's empirical law was developed to describe this dynamics of the pattern index. Data sets borrowed from other sch olars are used to illustrate the application of our model.
