Abstract
Methane emission measurements were recorded from the organic and inorg anic fertilizer treatments managed at the site under rice-wheat rotati on in Punjab. Urea-N significantly increased methane emission and appl ication of 8 t wheat straw ha(-1) with 120 kg N maximized methane emis sion to 57.3 mg m(-2) h(-1).
