Abstract
A preparation procedure for making thin self-supporting boron targets is described. The method is based on the preparation of a pre-fused lu mp and subsequent evaporation by electron bombardment. Using isotopica lly enriched material, uniform films of 30-69 mu g/cm(2) with low carb on and oxygen contamination were obtained.
