Abstract
It is shown that, under suitable conditions, involving in particular t he existence of analytic constants of motion, the presence of Lie poin t symmetries can ensure the convergence of the transformation of a vec tor field (or dynamical system) into normal form. (C) 1996 Academic Pr ess, Inc.
