Abstract
The presence of phlebotomine sandflies (Sergentomyia barraudi) in Maca u, a Territory in Southern China under Portuguese administration, is h ere recorded for the first time. Nineteen specimens (14 moles and 5 fe males) were examined for the most important features which were shown to agree with known descriptions of the species.
